Mavericks is offering everything from the year-round competitive swimming to cross-training for serious athletes, to beginning team experience for those swimmers not yet ready for USSwim meet competition.

All swimmers are encouraged to participate in team activities and to attend swim meets to support their teammates. Swimmers are encouraged but not required to compete in USSwim meets.

Mavericks participates in everything from "Team" meets limited to our own swimmers only; to dual and tri-meets limited to two or three teams in a friendly "practice" meet; to two and three-day USSwim meets where there may be up to 1200 swimmers.

It is critical that the swimmer, parents, and coach speak openly and speak often to determine the correct goals and pace for your young swimmer.
